Project Analyst - Job Description

Innovation

Working directly with our clients Project Management Offices (PMO's), Project Managers and Portfolio Managers, this role will require your detailed analysis of various project types (construction, retail, IT, etc) to guide them to successful delivery. This includes creation of client reports, recommendations based on the client project data, suggestions to clients supported by industry best practice and insights from expansive experience.

Practical

This role requires experience or knowledge about both management and governance for projects based on basic PM methodologies. This involves understanding a clients PMO process, their governance hierarchy and being able to find gaps within their project lifecycle guides. Your insights will be used to evaluate every part of a project, including: budgets, schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, quality management and all other PM body of knowledge areas.

Technical

Key challenges will include implementing, improving and following our project management delivery methodology within our custom built project management software. You will need to utilise each module within our software to aid our client's projects to successful delivery, this can be done through custom reports, data analysis and reviewing operating disciplines.

Accountable

With the high demands of this critical role, you must already have a deep knowledge around procedures / documentation, experience in project co-ordination and encompass an already strong ability at running projects. This role is ideal for Project Analysts who are self motivated, accountable and have a passion for gaining a deeper insight into how and why projects succeed or fail.
